if get steering colum from junkyard do you need car be reprogrammed

Hello, I'm not sure about a programming need, since I'm not sure what came with your steering column. You do have electric power steering so it's quite possible something needs to be resolved. Additionally, I'm not sure why then column was replaced in the first place. What testing was performed for whatever concern you had?
