Blower for heat/AC in 2008 Pontiac G5 will only work half the time.

Half the time when I get in my car and start it, the blower/fan for the heat and AC won't turn on. Occasionally it will turn on after I have been driving for a little bit or vice versa but recently it hasn't been turning on at all if it isn't on when I start the car. Other times when I start the car it will turn on and there won't be a problem. What could this mean? I have a 2008 Pontiac G5.
