could be bad key has chip in key for theft,we can program any car key here at stacks auto 631-422-4010

Stacks Auto is correct, but before moving forward with reprogramming, see if cleaning the area around the chip on the key will correct the problem. The chip can become unresponsive if debris has built up around it.
