What is your question?
Engine idles high then starts to missfire after it warms and the idle never decreases. Engine dies and will not restart until cooled. Fuel pump, relay and filter are new! Distributor, Ignition control module, coil, MAP sensor, and air filter have less than 1000 miles on them...

Hello, The first place to look is for vacuum leaks. These are very common, and will allow the engine to idle high because the engine is sucking in air on its own. This simulates you opening the throttle body with the accelerator. When the engine stalls, it is likely the vacuum leak becomes too large for the ECU to counter with additional fuel. If you do not know how to find a vacuum leak, I advise speaking with one of the certified shops on this list for a diagnosis: http://repairpal.com/pontiac-within-10-miles-of-minersville-pennsylvania-17954
I'm going to investigate the vacuum idea ASAP... Had a co-worker that claims he heard a leak the last time I started it. Could be the "smokin' gun"... I also forgot to mention one other important "symptom" of this on going problem. At first start cold, trans would also not shift until higher than normal revs until the enginge was shut off and restarted. That was just prior to the stall problem occuring. It would idle high until warm and not shift correctly. After turning it off and restarting, it ran fine. Thanks for the input/reply!!! Will keep posted on progress.
