Help!!!!! I don't know what to do any more!!!

Yes I did. And it just cranks over and won't start.

Put the key into ignition and turn it to RUN position,not crank. All dash lights will illuminate. Don't try to start the car. Leave the key in the ignition for about 5-10 minutes or until security light will stop flashing or goes off. The car should start after that. Security lock on the Pontiac disables the injectors, so the engine should crank. If it does not, you may want to check ignition switch, fuse and relay for the starter. Try to reset security first. Sometimes the magnet in the ignition lock cylinder gets dirty and needs cleaning.

Please tell me how to reset the security alarm. Also the security light stays on to

Thank you so much for the advice and suggestion because I did what you said I left the key in and put on make sure it put in the position and finally the security light go off I did that a couple of times and it did go off and on but now my problem is it won't start please please can you help me with that thank you I hope you have a nice Thanksgiving from bad rainbow

ok,are you 100% sure that none of the 3 passlock sensor wires on the new key switch cylinder are not pinched, and they are hooked up correctly?also,one final thing.are you 100% sure when they did your keys.that they put the correct ohm resistance code in?

Yes, I am sure that everything is hooked up. But can it be the relay for the starter??? I don't want to get rid of the car.
