Why won't my Aztek start?

What is your question?

All of a sudden my Aztek died on me.We thought it was the fuel pump so we pulled it home after we were told by an auto zone employee that it would be fine to pull it as long as it was in neutral.When we got it home we realized that the rearend was fried.Anyway,we got a new carrier assembly and fuel pump for it,put it all back together and now it still won't start.Is there something that needs to be reset with the computer/electrical?

check a plastic connector were the fuel pump harness plugs up located underneath by rear driverside door. replaced many with water damage/ corrosion

can u replace that wiring harness? or just the plug? and how about the part that is on the floorboard that they connect to?
