What is your question?
I'm trying to diagnose if my blower motor issue is the blower or resistor. I have 12-volts at the motor, but it's not working. When I turn the fan speed to 5 the voltage is reversed (red is ground / black is hot). I have 12-volts going into the resistor across the connection, but I'm also reading roughly 7.5 volts on the light blue wire (speed 2) and tan (speed 3) along with the 12-volts. Sometimes the fan will spin, but stops after a moment and the resistor gets very hot. Thanks,

N/A - just doesn't work

Hello, initially, the blower motor sounds like it's an issue if it's getting power and not turning. However, I'd probably replace both components. The resistor is the most likely cause, but if you put direct power to the blower motor and it doesn't activate, then the motor is an obvious concern. There is no published specification for the expected voltage at the resistor that I can find, and I'm not sure the information you're going after is a valid test.
