01 Pontiac Aztec no power to fuel pump

If you spilled a drink behind driver seat there is a module that holds your fuel wire harness and another (the male side)holds the copmuter wires. So look under car where behind driver seat would be and you will see a wire connector. Pull it out and check the Pigtail, Prongs, Whatever you wanna call it. Check for corrosion, Rotting, etc If you spilled soda you can splice the wires down about 7-12 inches because the soda is like an acidic and will eat up your wires without a doubt. I'm having same issue and when my dad went under the car under the driver seat side the stuff was corrodied and the white and pink cord was in half so he cleaned the corrosion . is the white and pink cord suppose to be hooked? What are they called. I have a 01 Aztec.
