Turn signals and Emergency flasher's don't work

The multifunction switch is likely defective (Turn signal-4 way) as this was quite common, however, the Body Control Module (BCM), not likely, but can also be an issue as all inputs from the multifunction switch go to the BCM and the BCM activates the appropriate component.
