Crankshaft position sensor and replacements failing after short time.

What is your question?

When I replace crankshaft sensor with replacement it fails after a short time, I then put the original back in which works for a time then fails again,I then switch it with the previous one and so on and so on

What makes this problem better or worse?

Replacing sensor with one that failed earlier works for a short period of time then same thing happens

How long has your 1999 Plymouth Breeze had this problem?
