The engine light is continuously flashing and the car has a real bad putter to it. my neighbor took the spark plugs out on one side and it didn't do nothing period once he took one out on the left hand side it was fire everywhere he stated it might be the coil pack. What do you think
What makes this problem better or worse?

Hello, you have an engine misfire, which causes a flashing check engine light. Do not continue driving the car and running the engine until this is repaired, or further damage to the engine and possibly catalytic converter will result. Testing is needed to find out if you have a failed ignition component, a fuel delivery component, an air intake component, a base engine problem or timing issue. Although it's not real testing, the side that was accessed that did not affect the way the vehicle runs is probably not functioning and needs troubleshooting focused in that area. www.repairpal.com/repair-shops
