where is the speed control vacuum or vent solenoid located?

Follow the cable that comes off the throttle plate. Not the accelerator cable, but the other one. At the end of the cable is the cruise control assy. That solenoid is a part of that assy. It would be more helpful if you told me what is wrong with you Acclaim.
