What is your question?
We can't figure out why the van keeps overheating was replaced a thermostat will replace a starter solenoid replace radiator hoses we've replaced the starter the alternator and a battery in this van and is still wanting to overheat it will run fine if you bleed the radiator before driving it but if you don't it will overheat what could be causing it
What makes this problem better or worse?
not letting the air out of the radiator or bleeding the radiator if you don't do that before you drive it overheats
How long has your 2002 Oldsmobile Silhouette had this problem?

There are two bleeder screws for the cooling system which must be used to properly purge air from the system. Located on front area of engine - flat screwdriver needs to be used - slightly open bleeder to let air escape - when coolant starts to exit - ‘snug’ bleeder screw back corn - DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN ! IF this method of bleeding doesn’t help - highly recommend *combustion leak* testing. Good luck!
