Bendix arm not popping out to engage the fly wheel. Would that cause no spark?

What is your question?

The bendix arm is not engaging the flywheel. Because of that, would that be the cause of no spark passing thru the distributor? There is 12.70 volts goin to the coil but its not passing thru the distributor.

Seriously ? ... Spark will not occur until engine is being CRANKED.. IF the bendix (starter drive) is not touching the flywheel - then the engine can’t be CRANKED.. You need *hands-on* assistance from qualified personnel... Good luck to ya!
