Hard starting

What is your question?

Motor takes forever to start. I think it is the fuel pump. Could it be anything else?

Yes, it could be due to worn out tune up parts like the sparkplug wires or sparkplugs. You could have contaminated or old fuel causing the problem. There could be a problem with the fuel pressure, too.

Thanks Bob. It has been doing this for a while. It's almost like it takes the gas a while to get where it is supposed to go. It doesn't stall or cut off once it is started. Would the spark plugs and wires be the best place to start?
