What is your question?
Not sure if this site is old or new but here goes! My 2000 Olds Intrigue was going past the half mark and then all the way to hot when idling. It never steamed or smelled hot? My husband ( who is NOT auto experienced) changed the thermostat, helped for a month but started again. He and a friend changed the water pump, the belt squealed horribly for two weeks but that went away. Still keep having to put water and now the AC won't get cold???? It is in the 90s and I need AC due to breathing difficulties????? The AC was never a problem??? Please HELP!!!!
What makes this problem better or worse?
Driving any distance
How long has your 2001 Oldsmobile Intrigue had this problem?
6 months, AC 5 days

If you are adding water then you have a leak. The cooling system is probably not bled properly either. You can rent a pressure tester at a local parts store to check for the leak. Also make sure the engine fans are working.Use this link to find a good shop near you if you don't want to work on it anymore. https://repairpal.com/repair-shops Alex
