Replacement of blend door accuator

The shop manual suggests you must remove the dash to get to the drivers side actuator. However, some folks suggest you can remove the lower kick insulation, the plastic panel under steering wheel, and metal panel behind that (4 bolts hold this on - will need extension on rachet to pull)...and then you would be able to see it once those steps are done. It would be up and to the right, has two screws and an alignment post. That is not the official instruction though, and I cannot vouch for it. Good luck!
