Keep losing my headlights and dash ligts go dim. Gauges intermittently fail.

What is your question?

Hear a intermittent clicking sound as I lose my headlights and dash lights dim. Already Replaced the switch on the steering column. The gas gauge will suddenly spike then go to empty.

What makes this problem better or worse?

When the headlights go out I can hold the switch in high beam for lights.
