Always a guessing game! Possible broken wiring at drivers door hinge. However if the dome light does indeed dim when switch is activated - bout got to be the lift motor... That’s an easy diy test. No you never can tell - we’ll never know on this forum! It behooves me to understand why visitors will not reply so others with similar problems may benefit from the final outcome - regardless of what the repair entails. That’s the norm on the other forums of this type - why not here?
