When I push the gas while it's n park it burps and when drive it it muffles and won't leave 1st gear i changed all spark plugs and wires Can somebody help

It is extremely easy to get the plug wires placed on wrong coil terminals - that will certainly cause the symptoms you have posted here..

Google > 3.1 gm firing order That'll show you where the plug wires go for the 3.1 OR the 3.4 engine. I highly recommend re-checking firing order.. Good luck!
