my 2003 oldsmobile bravada passenger side dash melted..

What is your question?

I had went to the store came home and parked it and about a hour later I was going to go somewhere again, opened the door and all kinds of smoke came billowing out...by the smell you could tell it was electrical, there were no flames just a melted dash, I popped the hood unhooked the battery and that seemed to stop whatever was happening...has anybody had the same experience with their bravada as me?
