i had two machanics come and see my suv yesturday both had different answers the sound coming from around under the gas padel. one machanic told me its coming fron the rear diff. i keep spending money and no answer and the suv still not working

Sounds are hard to locate, so this isn't an uncommon situation. I looked at technical service bulletins for this vehicle, and there are 10 or so that can be related to this noise. You need to have a mechanic read these bulletins, see if they apply, and diagnose this properly. Or, make sure that they guarantee that what they replace will fix it and don't pay them if it doesn't.
