put new battery in and now it won't do anything

Need more information, like why did you replace the battery? Did it run OK before you installed the battery? Are you sure the new battery is charged? Any chance you connected the battery backwards, that is, reversed polarity of the connections? Sorry for all the questions and no answers, but I didn't get much usable information from your question. You may have to tow the car to an Olds or GM specialist to get a diagnosis.
