What is your question?
Hello, so as mentioned above, my Alero's Anti-lock light, service light and traction off light comes on in reverse! It's quite a random occurrence, it happens mostly when I put the car in reverse but it also happens when I shift from reverse to drive. I just bought this car recently, and I thought it was near perfect. It's a really great running car. These lights never came on before I sent it to a shop for an inspection. A few days later, I brought the car to a shop in Federal Way, Wash. and they recommended a brake flush. After I did that, these lights started popping up randomly. I called the shop and told them the problem, and they said it had nothing to do with the brake flush. Is this true?? I read online and it said brake fluid levels could affect this and it only happened after the brake flush (and I also did the drive belt replacement). When I called them back, it seemed like they didn't want to take responsibility for this and expected me to pay more if I wanted to do a diagnostic and check for the problem. This shop is also a RepairPal certified shop that I found through this website. They called me back a few days later and asked me for an update (at least they called) and I told them the problem still existed. It's still happening now. It seems like they're expecting me to pay for a diagnostic and all that so I haven't brought my car back as I'm still pondering my decisions. What the shop did: 1) Brake Fluid Exchange Service Remove brake fluid from master cylinder vacuum and/or pressurize system to remove brake fluid advise of any abnormalities noted in hydraulic system install new brake fluid bleed system as necessary recheck operation 2) Replace Serpentine Belt Some other info: haven't checked the codes (don't have time and sometimes it doesn't appear so I don't bother going to a shop to borrow their diagnostic tool), I've done a brake flush, drive belt replacement and also bought and installed a brand new battery (this problem started even before the new battery was put in). Please let me know of any good ideas or advice, like should I call the shop and ask them to take responsibility and check the problem for free? Thank you! Merry Christmas and have a great night.

I would most definitely get them to look at the car, I have this same problem with my Alero, what may need to be done is have them check the wheel speed sensor, it could have rust in the connectors causing you this issue, if it's now that you may need to replace the ABS sensor which requires you to change both front hub bearing, I got both of my front hub bearings for $98 CAD, check out prime Choice Auto Parts. Com, the have very desent prices on just about eveything
