Hello, The sway bar can be completely removed rather than leaving it installed and broken, and the front frame has two meaning. 1. Frame rails are the upper portion of the frame that the fenders bolt to. Replacing those requires a body shop. 2. Sub-frame is the portion that bolts to the bottom of the chassis, holds the lower control arms, sway bar, rack and pinion steering gear, and typically has a mount or two for the engine or transmission. That can be removed and replaced. If there is just a little rust, grind, paint, forget. If the rust is causing structural integrity issues, replace or weld. The sway bar is doing nothing if it is only connected to one side of the vehicle. If you are comfortable with how it drives, that's the important thing. The body may pitch and roll more in turns, and will have slightly decreased handling performance overall. Replacement is the best option for the sway bar, but if you are not going to replace it, remove the broken one at least.
