Having trouble getting my 98 Oldsmobile 88 to start

What is your question?

When we try to start it, it does nothing we were told it was the starter so we changed it two weeks ago and it's still doing the same thing

What makes this problem better or worse?

I think it gets better when I turn the key back and bang on stuff under the Hood

How long has your 1996 Oldsmobile 98 had this problem?
