What is your question?
I have a 1996 Olds 88. It has 45K in mileage. I took it to Firestone for an oil change and they say I should change the transmission fluid since it is discolored. They said that Olds 88 should have the transmission fluid changed at around 50K in general. Is this true, or do you think they are trying to charge me for a serivce that I don't need? I thought Olds 88 don't require changing the transmission fluid until 100K. I've read articles that changing the fluid is one way these automotive chains make money. http://autos.aol.com/article/fluid-flush-fallacy/
