Kickdown wont work

Hello, my technical information is a bit less than complete, but my recollection is that this vehicle has a throttle cable (t.v. cable) that will indicate to the transmission when it's time to do a forced downshift. Check for any detached or suspect looking cables at the throttle body area under the hood, this cable goes to the transmission and if detached or out of adjustment could cause problems.
