On a lot of cars, the VDC and SLIP lights come on in conjunction with the dreaded check engine light! The P0101 code indicates a problem with the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor, which can cause all sorts of weird issues if it’s not working right. If you’ve already tried to fix it, but the lights persist, it might be time to double-check the sensor or the wiring. Also, ensure there aren’t any vacuum leaks or clogged air filters causing trouble. Sometimes, a faulty MAF sensor can confuse other systems, triggering those additional lights.
