Can I drive without a Fixed Cam assembly in my front passenger hub?

What is your question?

My fixed Cam assembly broke in my hub (front passenger). Apparently when this piece breaks Nissan forces you to put on a manual locking hub because Nissan no longer sells the part (fixed cam assembly) and Nissan no longer sells the auto locking hub (part no. 40260-8B400. Could I drive without this part in the hub?
