Can you access the fog light from the rear? Behind the bumper?
There is a plastic panel below the fog light. It is held in place with three phillips head screws and one 10 MM bolt. Remove the three screws and the 10 MM bolt. Remove the plastic panel. Disconnect the two electrical connections on the back of the light. The connections may be difficult to take apart. Both have a pinch clip that must be depressed to pull them apart. The clip can be depressed with gentle pressure with needle nose pliers. You may want to spray WD 40 on the connectors before attempting the separation. A small slot or flat head screwdriver can be used in the connection joint to help with the separation while gently depressing the pinch lock with needle nose pliers. Once the electrical connectors are seperated, remove the 10 MM bolt from the bottom of the fog light looking up from the bottom. There are two white plastic split retainers at the top of the back of the light assembly. In the center of the retainer is a round metal end of a silver stud. Spray a little WD 40 on these and gently push on the metal stud with a small flat screwdriver. The fog light assembly should now come out the front. Remove it from the front with one hand while pushing the metal studs with the other hand. Again use the WD 40 and lightly spray the openings for the locking tabs. This black cover for the light is marked with "top" directions shown for opening and removal. Turn counterclockwise to remove (left when facing the back of the assembly). The back cover contains the connection for the wire going to the bulb. Lift the connection out and pull the spade connector and white wire going to the bulb free from the connector. There is a wire with a rounded or circle like formed on the end of it that holds the bulb in place. Push down on the wire and swing it to the right while letting it come toward you. The bulb should now be free to be removed and replaced. The replacement bulb will have a half moon cut-out and rectangular cut-out on opposing sides of the plate. Insert the bulb (DO NOT TOUCH THE GLASS BULB WITH YOUR FINGERS). Lock the bulb in place by reversing the process with the wire that holds the plate base of the bulb. Reverse the removal process to complete the installation.
