What is your question?
I have an automatic liftgate on my car, it opens about 2 inches and automatically shuts when I press any of the buttons to open it (key fob, on the trunk, or at the steering column). I tried to reprogram it by manually opening the trunk and holding the button, when I do this it only beeps 2 times and is unresponsive. At that point it won't open or close automatically, until I manually shut it then it will do the same thing of opening about 2 inches and automatically shutting. I did a soft reset on the car by removing the storage fuse and reinserting it, but that did not work. I have no idea what to do now?

Sounds like the mechanism is sensing some kind of restriction or is experiencing some kind of drag that is making it inoperative. This will take some inspection and troubleshooting. There may also be the presence of diagnostic trouble codes that may aid in the diagnostic process -- all in the "B" code range, body control module affiliated. A good Nissan compatible vehicle diagnostic tool should be employed to determine what is going on.
