What is your question?
We took about a 2 hour trip yesterday and everything was fine. When we got home it sat for a few hours, then my better half tried to go to the store got about 1 mile from the house she stopped at a stop sign. Then when she took off it barely accelerated and then lost all power. She turned it off for a minute then turned it on and was able to drive like 5 miles an hour to get back home. It's like the car isn't registering when you are pushing the accelerator.
How long has your 2014 Nissan Versa had this problem?

Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! Sounds like your 2014 Nissan Versa decided to take a break from life! If the engine isn’t responding to the gas pedal and the RPMs aren’t even climbing, the issue might be with the electronic throttle control system. These modern cars don’t use cables anymore, so a faulty throttle position sensor or even the pedal sensor could be the culprit. It could also be the car slipping into "limp mode," often triggered by a transmission or engine issue. Check for any codes, and keep an eye on that throttle system!
