Lights on Transmission

Hello. I have a nissan versa 2014. Normally when I turn the lights on in my car at night also lights on my aoutomatic yransmission turned on so i could easly see the P, R, and D easily. Niw these lights are not turning on. All other lights are working except that. even I hit that and it worked for couple of minutes and turned off again. Pls help
