My check engine light came on on my 2014 note . I used the hand held scanner and didn't get any code is possible that it could be the spark plugs that needs to change ? I haven't changed them from I have the car about 2 yrs now.

Quite likely your scan tool can not access all onboard modules - therefore a professional scan test of ALL modules is highly recommended. Guessing at it cost mo money - and that’s all anyone can do without proper *hands-on* testing! Good luck!
