Exhaust manifold leak.. issue with heating and warming the cab

Can a exhaust manifold leak affect the way the truck heats such as inside the cab. For example I could let my truck sit and it would be warm, but it would blow cold. However if I'm driving it it will heat up. As soon as I'm at a stop sign.. etc it's starts to get colder. Could the exhaust leak be the cause..?something to do with compression idk?
What makes this problem better or worse?
Driving it at 2grand or higher on the speedo. Anything less will cool it down

Not really, its likely something else. The exhaust leak can't have any major impact on cabin heat. With that said you will need to start by checking your coolant level with the engine cold. If that's ok you may have an open thermostat, weak water pump, clogged heat core, etc. Hands on testing will need to be performed to diagnose this properly.
