I have a 2004 Titan CC 4x4 with 187k miles. I Have always used royal purple 5w30 and a Nissan Oil Filter. Lately when truck is driven a period of time the oil psi gauge which has always rode in the middle or a little high after first few min starting it up, is now fluctuating from middle down to quarter below mark and back and forth. I tried switching to 10w30 this last time and it still does the same thing. I am thinking my oil pump is in need of replacement in short time. I did replace oil psi sensor with new unit from Nissan and still no change. Love the truck and don't want a problem in the future. I am also thinking if I have to do the oil pump I am going to do the timing chains and guides and tensioners. Is there a set mileage interval on these items or replace as needed?
