My ac won't work we had no problems before dealership "repaired"

My car had no issues that I recognized. However our tensioner pulley broke because it is a newer car had to repair at dealership. Now the check engine light is on, the ac doesn't blow, compressor doesn't even engage. Blew very cold before . Dealership went from 800 to 2300 and now 6000 in needed repairs but we had no issues with any of this before pulley broke and we had to take there. Even charged us 2300 for an alternator we didn't need
