Hi, my name is Devin. I am an auto repair expert with the Car Genius team here at RepairPal. I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with your Sentra. The mass airflow (MAF) sensor replacement may not have fully resolved the issue. The check engine light and traction control light can be related because both systems rely on engine performance data. If there's still a problem with the MAF sensor, it could trigger both lights. It's also possible that a related issue, such as a vacuum leak or problem with the throttle body, is causing the lights to return. I'd recommend having the vehicle scanned again to pinpoint any codes that have reappeared so you can get to the root cause. If you need more advice, have any other questions about your vehicle, or would like to get connected to a RepairPal Certified shop near you, we have you covered.
