At 27,000 miles. Daughter filled up gas tank. Noticed fir 2/3 days that car reaked strongly of gas. Had it looked at. Fuel pump assembly leaking . One of connector pins was burnt .. $854.00 for repair. Seems to me Nissan should warranty this . Opinions? Anyone else experience this ?

Hello, where is it leaking from? It sounds like there may be more information or history here? Spontaneous leaking of a fuel pump and damage to wiring doesn't often just happen without other actions that may have caused it. You can check with your local Nissan dealership to see if there is an opportunity for warranty coverage, but I wouldn't expect it. Make sure you have the VIN (vehicle identification number) handy to share with dealership personnel so they can check for you.
