I drained 5.5 quarts of cvt fluid from 2014 nissan sentra. That's all I got.

What is your question?

It holds 7.25 quarts. Was I low on fluid? I removed both drain plugs (Outer bolt, inner threaded tube). should I refill with 7.25 quarts? I am using Valvoline cvt synthetic fluid. So far I have added 6 quarts back in.

What makes this problem better or worse?

There is no problem. Just changing fluid per maintainance schedule
