Spark plugs were replaced and the shop that replaced them told me that there was a large plastic tube in the area that they had to remove to get to the plugs and that it did not look good it looked like it could have some leaks in it but they had already put the car back together and I didn’t have them change it they told me that the part would cost me about 130.00 dollars so I told them I didn’t want to have them do that at that time because I would have to pay them to take it apart again. could this tube cause the car to run rough and to die at stop lights

It runs very rough and dies when idling
