What is your question?
Dealership wants to replace struts on my 2010 Nissan Sentra (130k mileage) for $2300.00. Is this reasonable? They didn't indicate front or rear. Does my car have both? If so, I assume both will be replaced. Do the shocks have to be replaced too and should the car be realigned? Also, the dealership replaced my Clock Spring 4 weeks ago and now the steering wheel is drifting to the left. Should this be happening? The dealership inspected and said there nothing they did to cause this.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Nothing
How long has your 2010 Nissan Sentra had this problem?
Since yesterday when dealorship informed me of the need to replace.

Hello, you do have front struts with a compressed coil spring within the shock absorber, and rear shock absorbers without integral springs inclusive. As a result, I'm a little wary of the price. Use the estimator tool to get market pricing -- www.repairpal.com/estimator Even with wheel alignment (which is needed) included, I'd be thinking no more than about $1700 total for all 4. Just top of my head - and that number is probably on the high end. As far as the clock spring, you won't get a drift from that. I'd have wheels aligned (which would be done with the strut replacement) and check tires for a pull perhaps. What is the "need" for shocks attributed to?
