I hit the mirror backing out of garage. Glass broken some of the black frame still attached. Do I take it to body shop or service dept?
An evaluation of the damage is in order. Mirrors come in different styles and colors. If the outside of the mirror is body colored, a new one requires paint to match the car. Some are black only, and can be installed out of the box. Damage dependent, there are options for repair or replacement. Used is also an option.
