Either or. Swing by a body shop first they may be cheaper and have a used option. Alex

An evaluation of the damage is in order. Mirrors come in different styles and colors. If the outside of the mirror is body colored, a new one requires paint to match the car. Some are black only, and can be installed out of the box. Damage dependent, there are options for repair or replacement. Used is also an option.
