What is your question?
I’ve had trouble with ignition not turning. I was able to turn steering wheel back and forth and it would finally turn. With car battery dead could that cause the ignition not turning. I’ve got a charging pack that has jump started the car a month ago at the time I didn’t let the car run to charge battery. I’m assuming the battery in car died and can that cause the keyless entry key fob key to turn ignition over. Hope that makes since. Thank you for anyhelp
What makes this problem better or worse?
Not sure
How long has your 2008 Nissan Sentra had this problem?
Couple years just random turning steering wheel back and fourth until it worked. This time battery is dead I’m wondering can this cause issue with key not turning ignition over

Hello, the steering wheel tightly bound against the steering lock due to tension on the front wheels turned slightly is what caused the steering to be locked and the ignition to not turn. Your battery being dead sounds like possibly a normal end of life battery situation. It's hard to say without performing hands on testing. Certainly the battery should be tested for state of charge and the ability to sustain a load. But - again, there is no link between a dead battery and the steering wheel being locked preventing the key from turning in the cylinder.
