What is the estimated cost to replace the transmission on my Nissan sentra

What is your question?

My transmission seems to be giving me trouble with driving. The car makes lots of noises when driving and at times is not able to be put into drive. I can only go in reverse when this happens. Is this a transmission problem and if so, I would like to know the estimated cost and procedure to fix it.

Sounds transmission related. If your Sentra is the 1.8L with automatic transmission, expect to pay $1,500 to $2,00 for a used transmission replacement. A remanufactured unit would cost $700 - $1,200 more.
