Trying to figure out how to remove the screen on a 2004 Nissan Sentra fuel pump

Hello, I'm trying to understand what is going on. The strainer on the fuel pump is not normally removable, and comes as a single component with the fuel pump. Are you trying to replace it individually?
Yes
I would recommend against it. If the screen comes off of the pump you will lose the ability to filter your gasoline. The pumps are sold as a unit because the filter screens are installed by the factory. I would not risk or advise it.
