What is your question?
I just got 2004 nissan sentra had been setting up for about year now. I was told at the time only thing that could be wrong with it was the cam shaft position sensor, and possibly the catalytic converter, so eager to know if the engine was worth time and effort. I put a battery pack on it jumped it and it fired right off. Ideled well but when giving it gas (revving the engine it seemed to cut out and lose power) moving on from problem.# 1, I then cranked the car to let it warm up to drive it home so i stepped away from the vehicle while it was running for a bit only to come out and see white smoke from engine compartment the smoke seemed to be coming from in between resorvoir and pulleys. I immediately killed the car noticed the temp gauge was running hot. Then proceeded to look at the engine and top the radiator just exploded. What causes that? And what should I do for troubleshooting after I replace the radiator tomorrow...
What makes this problem better or worse?
Just got it

First: it is highly unlikely that the "camshaft position sensor" is of any concern. Sounds like someone providing uneducated information. Second, this vehicle should have been thoroughly evaluated prior to acquiring it or driving it. You have no knowledge of the vehicle, and even running it could have caused extremely catastrophic damage. Overheating, if it has occurred, could have now damaged multiple components -- or -- more likely, this failure is what caused the vehicle to be not driven for a year. I'd get my money back if you can and get a more reasonable vehicle. If not, prepare for the worst and seek professional guidance without delay. www.repairpal.com/repair-shops
