2002 sentra. While driving, sounds like the engine is revving excessively(like a jet engine). Best description of sound is like it was driving is 1st gear. Tach reads a constant 2k (approx.) Revving sound increases as I accelerate, and decreases as I slow down. Only happens while driving. The excessive revving sound does not occur if I press the accelerator pedal while in park or neutral. Exhaust system is OK.
What makes this problem better or worse?
