Look for power and ground at pins 5 and 16 http://www.auterraweb.com/obdiipinout.html Also at our shop we have three scantools some scan tools read all cars some are better than others. Does the service engine son/check engine light come on when the ignition key is put in the run position? If not the computer may not be getting power/computer or wiring problem. There is a company that independent auto repair shops get their information from, this same information is available inexpensively for people that work on their own cars.. The information is year make and model specific, covering repair procedures, torque specifications, fluid capacities and specifications, service bulletins, component locations, wiring diagrams ect.... Alldata is very easy to navigate http://bit.ly/AllData_Repair_Manuals_Online
